I totally love the sentiment in this video from Jez Bragg; a man I recently competed against in the Fellsman – he successfully defended his title that day, I only just defended my honor!
It’s not just the beautiful shots of the mountains I love, it’s the fact that it articulates why I run and my more recent obsession with longer distance mountain trails. Something I was close to forgetting after such a tough day on Saturday.
I’ve already got enough points to enter the lottery for UTMB places. The requirement is 7 points from three races/ events. Hardmoors was worth 2, Bob Graham was worth 4 and the Fellsman yielded a further 3.
I hope this is one lottery I can win as the race looks incredible.
